175 years of Hanover railway history - and a lost place below
The central station represents Hanover's long history from the royal era to the modern state capital.
The tour: a journey through the contemporary history of the central station, the city and the industry. Completely inaccessible to the public is the “ghost station” – the shell of an underground station that has never seen a train in more than 50 years. We will spend 20 minutes here at the end of the tour.
Meeting point: Ernst-August-Denkmal, Hauptbahnhof
End point: Raschplatz
